Outstanding customer service
We were there for 4 nights. Can't say enough about the people who work there. They go above and beyond to accommodate your every need. The food is delicious, the beaches are clean, the rooms are spacious and the decks overlooking the beaches are perfect for relaxing or watching the sunsets. The drinks were amazing also and there is always a way to get delicious food regardless of the time of day. We had a couple of nights of great music and dancing. The entire island was under a 6pm curfew so really no way to leave the hotel in the evening. Highly recommend this resort. Special thanks to my fellow Indian Chris!
The perfect babymoon getaway.
First let me just say this place is amazing in every possible way, the beach, customer service, and rooms. This was the first time we have been to Antigua and we'll be returning because of this place. Chris was amazing in helping us book on the website and answering any and all concerns/ questions. It was our babymoon so he set us up on the beach with a plunge pool to help limit how much waking up and down the hills my pregnant wife had to do. He also made sure my wife had apple juice, which normally isn't on the menu but he went out and got it to help with my wife's cravings. He also made sure anything else we needed was taken care of. One of the biggest things I can say about this resort is the warmth of everybody working there. We've traveled to many Caribbean destinations but very rarely have we felt the genuine warmth from the people working there. I can't really put into words to accurately reflect how welcoming they were and how they part of the family they made us feel. A lot of places We've been give off a sanitized Caribbean feel but everything here felt authentic. My wife has celiac's disease and is lactose intolerant (gluten free and dairy free). The staff at the restaurant all seemed fairly knowledgeable about my wife's restrictions, if they weren't sure they got the chef and all our questions were answered. With the exception of maybe 1 meal she had several options available to her, and all the meals were delicious. The beaches were absolutely gorgeous, the prettiest blue you've ever seen. The pictures on their website are not filtered out really looks that amazing. The water is not crystal clear however it was hazy when you got in, so snorkeling is not really an option. But that could just be down to time of year, I don't really know if that was normal. We will be going again and are planning on trying to go back in April. If you're looking at Antigua it's a no Brainer come to this resort and you'll not regret it.
Perfect relaxing quaint cottage style resort
Today is my first day but I wanted to get it right out with the Covid requirements We found it very doable but I think w kids it would be difficult At this time you need a Covid test for entry and exit. For entry it has to be within seven days so I went to urgent care one week before and found it easy to get test and had results back within three days. In retrospect I wish I would have taken the test six days before my trip to not have someone interpret seven days differently than i did You don’t need the on line service On the plane they give you one sheet of paper to fill out With your immigration and custom papers Total time from getting off the plane to out of the airport was 30 min but the number of people on the planes is down substantially They were strict about hand sanitizer. I think I was instructed eight times to use at diff stops. At first it felt very slow as I couldn’t see the end They take your temperature then you see a Covid specialist who looks over your reports and your forms. That takes about five min No one had any problems that I could see We leave on Sunday so sat night we go to the lobby and a doctor will do a rapid test on us So. I conclude that it is certainly a level of annoyance cost. But far out weighed to enjoy this special place especially with such reduced visitors It is a whole diff experience That being said. This place is great. Quiet two beaches. One pool. The view off the balcony is amazing. The birds are amazing. The food is good It is hilly. Not for people who can’t walk up hills. We love it. I just want people to know the Covid hurdles are doable and the reward is immense Next time I come there will be more people here but I am glad I get to enjoy it now also
Just returned home from an eight night vacation to Antigua COCO's Hotel. It was simply amazing!!! The resort is beautifully place on the side of the mountain. You can eat all you want because you walk it off everyday. The staff were the most hospitable. Collette aka Sandy was so fun to talk to. Chris from the moment we arrived until we left checked on us daily to make sure everything was spectacular. All of the food is prepared fresh for every meal. NO BUFFET!! Very clean eating. We will absolutely return to this hotel.
Fabulous and Heavenly!
My husband and I just spent a week at Cocos. Service was excellent with staff being as helpful ad friendly as can be. The views are just sublime. Food is pretty good. Not haut cuisine but lots of variety and definitely very good. There is only one restaurant. Its set on the side of a hill with fabulous views and the menu was different every evening. We also went out for dinner a couple of nights - a short walk away in the Jolly Beach complex. The hotel organised car hire for us for 3 days (271 USD in total) and we used it to explore the island. They drive on the left and we had a sat nav to help us find paces. The sunset views are very special. We booked a sunset cottage. In hindsight I would not have done as it meant the terrace was a bit of a sun trap all afternoon and too hot to sit out on. I would have booked a view and then gone to watch the sunset from the beach. A tip from a staff member when we left is to book room 6 or 7 next time! The place has a rustic charm. The rooms are a good size. There are lots of hills - I appreciated the exercise - but this hotel is not for anyone with any kind of mobility issues. Bed was very comfortable and there was air con. Has two fantastic massages at the spa. There are two beautiful beaches. No hawkers. We were fortunate in that Jolly Beach hotel next door was closed making one of the beaches much quieter than it otherwise might have been. The other beach is a bit more lively with music and sunsets (both have a bar). We met some great people while we were there - which was the icing on the cake! All staff wore masks but the atmosphere was relaxed for the guests re Covid (5 deaths in total in Antigua) and we very much appreciated that. I am sure they stuck to all the rules but it wasn't intrusive for the guests. We loved every minute and can't wait to go back!! Thanks Cocos!
